Our Story

We’re Tina and Bryan, and our love for the Driftless started long before Driftless Destinations.

After raising our three boys on an acreage for 26 years, we found ourselves dreaming about life closer to the Mississippi River. In 2016, we bought a home here and spent years coming up on weekends whenever we could. Eventually, weekends weren’t enough. Almost four years ago, we decided this was where we wanted to call home.

What surprised us most was that our family followed. Our youngest came with us while finishing high school, and eventually our two older sons chose to make the move too. They had fallen in love with the area just like we had.

We’ve always loved traveling, taking road trips and discovering the little places that make an area special. That became a big part of the inspiration for Driftless Destinations.

Bryan, a longtime home builder, built the house, while Tina brought the spaces inside to life. From the beginning, we agreed on one thing: we wanted to create a home we would be proud to live in ourselves.

Today, DD is our way of sharing a place we love with other families and friends. We hope you explore while you’re here, find a few favorite places of your own, and come back to a home where you can simply gather, play and unwind.
